A photogram is a type of 'camera-less' photography. In the darkroom, objects are placed on photographic paper, which is then exposed to light and processed in the same chemistry as a black and white photograph. The resulting image is the product of overhead light from the enlarger passing through or around whatever is utilized - forming abstract shadows, prisms, and traces of illumination.
